Biography
Alexis Leland graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in anthropology. After college, she volunteered for Bet Tzedek Legal Services, where she assisted in Social Security Disability cases. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctorate from Stanford University School of Law where she served as Notes Editor for the Stanford Law Review. Following law school, Ms. Leland clerked for United States District Court Judge Rudi M. Brewster in the Southern District of California.
Ms. Leland is a compassionate advocate for individuals with disabilities who zealously pursues her client's claims. She has represented claimants at all levels of the adjudicatory process. Ms. Leland is a member of NOSSCR and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. She speaks conversational Spanish.
